made for all to experience winter

A premium snowshoe and snowsport brand with a focus on bringing premium designs to explorers of all levels from the backyard adventurer to the backcountry explorer.

As a product graphic designer, I was tasked with developing product graphics based on requests from the product design team.

Product Design

Throughout the off-season, the product design team presents new designs for the next Winter season. When designs are presented, a request for product graphics is given to our team of three designers.

  • To work with the product team and present the best product design options for the coming winter season.

  • When a new product has been built and is ready for the design team, a request is sent through with a 2-week window for all designers to present their best designs to a team of stakeholders. After all potential designs have been presented a single design is selected and revised based on stakeholder feedback. This process can go between 1 and 3 rounds of design reviews before the final file is built and sent off to factory.

  • For the 2023-2024 winter season, a collection of 4 newly designed snowshoes will be introduced to the Yukon Charlie’s product line.

  • Design a new direct-to-consumer inline snowshoe graphic for an upgraded existing inline product. This design can have one aluminum frame color and a maximum of 3 deck ink colors.

  • Three graphic designers presented more than six design options for this snowshoe. The first design review resulted in two designs with requested revisions. This product design moved on to a second design review to evaluate the two modified directions, ultimately resulting in one design moving on to factory production.

  • After a series of 2 design reviews, the final product design selected was this teal and gray graphic collage of line work and torn edges coming together to create a mountain range.
