This strategy guide gives a detailed look at the elements considered when determining the new brand direction for the Forest Service. I discuss the history of the organization, define the vast target audience, identify a range of competitors, and more.

This guide maps out the process taken to design the new U.S. Forest Service logo, from initial rough sketches to final design and logo anatomy.

At this stage, the brand direction and new logo have been developed. This guide establishes and sets the standard for all brand deliverables, expanding on acceptable and unacceptable logo usage, brand colors, and brand extensions that ensure the promising new direction of the U.S. Forest Service.

A concise website defining the U.S. Forest Service’s rebrand and elaborating on the proposed brand extensions. This website is a digital platform that was designed as an extension of the published brand guides.
